The 475 Caravan!
Throughout the summer, watch for the colours and the music of the 475 Caravan!
As it criss-crosses Greater Gaspé, it will stop in everywhere along the way! Musicians with accordion, violin and bass, make-up artists and colourful characters will get everyone, young and old up and dancing, singing and laughing.
Watch for them at senior citizens' homes, on the wharves, at daycare centres and during all the Gaspé 2009 events; they'll be performing at a street corner near you. Let the caravan's colours and music put you in the party spirit.
Street art!
Throughout the summer, you'll find the circus, street theatre and all kinds of performers in action here and there and everywhere in town. In the downtown area, at the marina, the beach, Hydro-Québec Homecoming Place... you'll find performers adding their colours to the Gaspé landscape!

In addition to the festivities organized for the 475th anniversary of Jacques Cartier's arrival in Gaspé, several well known events will blend their activities with ours to celebrate this important year.
